The Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary Library supports the study and research needs of the seminary students and faculty, as well as WELS pastors, teachers, staff ministers, and members around the world.

When school is in session the library is open as follows:

Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm,
Sunday–Thursday 6:30pm–10:00pm

The library is closed when school is not in session, including afternoons before longer breaks. For more information, see the online calendar for the school schedule, call us at 262-242-8113, or email us at library@wls.edu.

In the Fall 2026 semester, the library opens on August 20 and is closed September 5–7, October 2–5, October 30–November 1, November 21–29, and December 19–January 10. In the Spring 2027 semester, the library opens on January 11 and is closed February 25–28, March 20–30, April 23–25, May 15–17, and during assignment and graduation services on May 27 and 28. Before each of these breaks, the library closes at 2:00 p.m. the previous day.

The library will be closed for construction May 23 through June 14, 2026, and June 27 through August 16, 2026. The library will be open for limited services during summer quarter, June 15–19 and 22–26, 2026.
