Celebrating Our 2026 STM Graduates

This spring, we thank God for the accomplishments of four pastors who have completed the Master of Sacred Theology (STM) program through Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Their work represents years of continued study, theological reflection, and growth in ministry, all in service to Christ and his church. We congratulate these graduates and pray that the Lord richly blesses their ongoing ministry.

  • Greg Pufahl serves at Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac, WI
  • David Scharf serves at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN
  • Nathanael Scharf serves at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm, MN
  • Nathan Schulte serves at St Matthew Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge, WI

The STM program is designed to help pastors grow spiritually, theologically, and professionally while continuing to serve in their current callings. Through flexible learning opportunities—including Summer Quarter courses, online courses, guided research, and study tours—pastors can pursue focused study in areas such as preaching and worship, pastoral care, evangelism, systematic theology, and more. The program is intended not simply as an academic degree, but as a way to encourage and equip pastors for a lifetime of faithful gospel ministry.

If you have been considering formal continuing education, now may be the perfect time to explore the STM program and the opportunities available through Grow in Grace.
