Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (WLS) is seeking candidates for a Communications Coordinator. This position, under the direction of the Director of Mission Advancement, is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that promote the seminary’s mission. This role involves writing and producing content for digital and print platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging, and supporting the seminary’s promotional campaigns. Key responsibilities include crafting web and social media content, coordinating public relations efforts, assisting with events, and maintaining the seminary’s online presence.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, be an active member of a WELS congregation, and demonstrate a strong commitment to WLS’s mission. Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills are essential, along with experience in WordPress and project coordination. The role requires a proactive team player who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
