The Four Branches Review

Welcome to The Four Branches Review!

Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary has long divided theology into four branches: exegetical theology, systematic theology, historical theology, and practical theology. In The Four Branches Review we offer four short monthly articles, one in each of these four branches.

These articles are an easy way to brush up on some things you may have learned but forgotten, to learn some things that may be completely new to you, and even to become aware of topics you may be interested in exploring further.

Thank you to those pastors who have shared their gifts, knowledge, and experience with us in writing these articles. We appreciate the time you have taken to edify and enrich us all, both spiritually and professionally.

Aaron Michael Jensen, The Four Branches Editor

Rev. Dr. Aaron Michael Jensen (PhD, SATS) is pastor at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Monticello, MN.
