Equipping Spiritual Leaders for Christian Congregations
Instructor: E. Allen Sorum
Description:
The focus of this course will, after a review of key components of active and effective leadership, seek to develop curriculum and teaching approaches for various demographic cohorts in most congregations. For example, what regarding leadership might pastors want to teach male leaders, husbands, and fathers in their congregations? What are leadership topics of interest to Christian women? When and with whom might mentoring as a teaching methodology be helpful? Are there general topics regarding leadership that would make a compelling sermon series or Bible study course? What topics would make a helpful leadership seminar for new congregational elders, leaders, and committee members? What might a leadership curriculum for Christian parents to discuss with their children look like? What might a Saturday seminar for raising up new leaders in a Christian congregation look like? Join our study to develop resources for equipping your Christian leaders for all of their vocations that require leadership!
