Description:
We will be studying the various theological trends and major theologians from approximately 1800 to the present. From the Enlightenment and romanticism through the confessional revival, liberalism/modernism, and neo-orthodoxy to process theology, liberation theology, and post-liberalism we will give an overview of all the theological trends that affect Christianity today. We will read a sampling of those theologians who have caused so much theological confusion over the past few centuries as well some of the theologians who opposed these destructive trends.
