David Valleskey grew up in Detroit, MI. He attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary and Northwestern College and graduated from the Seminary in 1962. God has graciously blessed him with 22 years in the parish, most of which were spent at Apostles in San Jose, CA; 20 years at the Seminary, the final eight as president, where he taught New Testament and Pastoral Theology with emphasis on evangelism; and 14 in an active “retirement,” during which he has served several vacancies. At present he is serving as half-time assistant pastor at Beautiful Saviour, Carlsbad, CA. He and Janice, his wife of nearly 57 years, are the parents of three daughters. They have been blessed with ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He and his wife live in San Marcos, CA, which is in San Diego County.
