Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician. This position, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for general maintenance of the seminary’s buildings and related equipment, and the seminary-owned faculty residences. Maintenance tasks include minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and assisting in the annual maintenance of the HVAC and boiler units. Assisting in snow removal is also required. Candidates should have a deep commitment to the mission and core values of the seminary and possess a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and be able to work independently. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 60 lbs. is required. A high school diploma/GED is required and at least two years of related maintenance experience or combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of the position. This is a non-exempt, regular full-time hourly position with benefits. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience. An offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate’s satisfactory completion of a background check.
