Pastor Phil Huebner shares his encouragement regarding Summer Quarter,
The more years I serve in ministry, the more I realize how important it is to be sharpened and strengthened as I wield the sword of the Spirit and serve people with both Law and Gospel. I have found the continuing education courses at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary—both online and Summer Quarter classes—to be priceless blessings toward that goal. Every class has informed, challenged, and strengthened me and my faith. I encourage every pastor to consider joining in the countless blessings that WLS continuing education has to offer.
Summer Quarter 2016 is one way to grow both spiritually and professionally. Again this year, on campus courses are offered for one or two weeks beginning on June 20 or 27, 2016. Online courses, which can be more accommodating to a pastor’s schedule, are set to begin June 20.
A variety of courses are now open for enrollment for on campus, online or for those participating in the revised Master of Sacred Theology program (STM). This revised program has expanded on specific areas of focus allowing the opportunity to demonstrate growth in ministry knowledge, skill, and ability.
Rooms and meals are available during Summer Quarter. The cost for one week room and board on campus at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary is $260, and $520 for both weeks. Five noon meals per week are available to commuting students at $45 for one week or $90 for both weeks.
As always the seminary offers scholarships that match dollar for dollar whatever a calling body contributes toward tuition for any for credit course on campus or online.
