Description: Reading: Isaiah 40:1-11 There is a lot to prepare before the coming of the Lord. The valleys need to be raised up and the mountains need to be made low. The Lord is coming, and he is coming to comfort his people. Even though we are like grass and we fade away, the Lord comes with his power to lead us like a shepherd. The Lord prepares us for his coming by his messengers. He sent John the Baptizer to prepare those people long ago, and the Lord still uses those words to prepare us. Speaker: R. Read
