Twelve students spent the week at Amazing Grace in Myrtle Beach, SC, working with Pastor Ben Zahn and Mission Counselor Wayne Uhlhorn.  They spent time learning about the history of Amazing Grace, along with some of the current (Mornings with Mommy & Preschool) and future ministry opportunities.

They interviewed locals to better understand the needs of an ever-growing community around Amazing Grace while also assisting DMB Chairman Zahn and the South Atlantic District Mission Board in trying to identify where another church could be planted in a county larger than the state of Rhode Island, and anticipating a quarter million newcomers in the next 15 years.  The men also assisted with a local event, providing clothing, toiletries, and a hot meal to some of the homeless in Myrtle Beach.
