Description: How often we ask for one thing – and God blesses us with far better. The lame man at the gate called Beautiful wanted money. Peter and John gave him the blessing of movement! If that were not enough, they gave him more: They gave him Jesus, his Savior. We also find that God gives us much more than we ask or deserve. We usually go to God for physical blessings: health or wealth. God gives us what he knows we need. But of his greater blessings, those that address our spiritual needs, God gives in abundance. When God pours out his blessings, we can only watch and be filled with wonder and amazement. God, in Christ, does all things well! Speaker C.
