Description: Reading: 1 John 1:1-4 The apostles were eyewitnesses to the truth of the resurrection. The powerful opportunity to touch the Savior’s hands and side, to see and hear him speak in person, these were given to only a select few. Yet through their witness and testimony, through the Word of God, we too have seen with eyes of faith. And so, Jesus’ words stand fulfilled in us: blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. The witness of the apostles to the resurrection brings us the same peace that Christ spoke to his disciples that night. For the Word brings eternal life, and the eternal life brings us peace.
