Description: Reading: John 15:1-8 Jesus’ resurrection means everything for his followers. We are not connected to a dead vine, but a living one. The living vine empowers living branches. There is no other vine that can give life like this one. All our fruit comes from him. Apart from him, no fruit is possible. This is not only a picture, but a relationship that Jesus has made with us. He connects us to himself and also prunes and cleans us. With our lives we express our gratitude and present our fruits to God in thanksgiving.
