Description: Thursday, October 8th Reading: Isaiah 5:1-7 God poured every ounce of care into his chosen vineyard. In God’s own words, he says “what more could I have done?” Just like in our gospel lesson, the first product of his vineyard was sour and bitter. Yet in his great patience, God did not stop his care for his vineyard there. He looked elsewhere with the gospel, and found other fitting sources for his fruits of faith.
