Description: Reading Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 6-9 (CW21) The Israelites were not to add to or subtract from the law God had given to them through Moses because that law was complete and was given to bless them. As they kept and observed God’s law they would exhibit a way of life the nations of their world would notice. Faith in God’s promises and obedience to his law still bring blessings. A heart fed by God’s promises gains forgiveness and eternal life. A heart guided by God’s law gains wisdom and understanding, as God uses his law both to drive us away from self-reliance and demonstrate what is pleasing to him and beneficial for us. Speaker J.
