Description: Reading Nehemiah 8:1-3, 5, 6, 8-10 Nehemiah gathered the people for Ezra to read the Book of the Law. God's Word had been lost to the Israelites for some time. Because they had not been following the law, the people were about to weep. However, the reading of God's word is a cause for celebration. Rejection of the Word was often the rule throughout Israel’s history. But great is the rejoicing when those with ears to hear – hear and believe! Speaker D.
