Description: Reading Mark 10:32-45 Jesus tells his disciples about his coming passion, but the disciples seem to miss it. James and John ask to sit at Jesus’ right hand. When Jesus tells them that they will have to drink the cup he is about to drink, they readily accept the challenge - causing the other disciples to become jealous. Jesus reminds them that he did not come to be served, but to serve. In so doing, he turns visions of human greatness upside down.
