Description: Wednesday – Romans 5:12-19 Paul gives a New Testament commentary on the universal effects of the First Adam’s failure and the Second Adam’s victory. Adam, though created in the image of God, failed the test of sonship. And because of his failure, all descendants of Adam are cursed to suffer the same fate: death. But God sent another Son in flesh to be what Adam had not been. The second Adam gives us his victory as ours, forgives our sins, and gives us eternal life.
