Description: Monday – Isaiah 45:22-25 The Lord prophesied deliverance for his people. He promised to rescue them from future captivity in Babylon. But God would send an unexpected deliverer: Cyrus, a pagan king. God acted in deliverance and strength for his people then, and he did for all people by sending his promised Son to rescue and deliver from sin. The unexpected deliverer, Jesus, rode into Jerusalem to shouts of Hosanna. Before him every knee will bow for his greatest act of deliverance and strength for his people.
