Scripture Lesson:Mark 10:46-52

Preacher: Prof. Brad Wordell

Description: Monday, October 25 Reading Mark 10:46-52 Bartimaeus could have easily listened to the crowd. They told him to quiet down and leave the teacher alone. Instead, he shouted all the more, believing that Jesus could indeed give him his sight. In this physical healing, how can we not think about the spiritual healing Christ did for us, giving light to our eyes through his radiant love and grace? Pr.: Prof. Wordell Hymns 814:1-3 CW21 – “Just as I am, without One Plea” 814:4-6 CW21 – “Just as I am, without One Plea” Musician N. Plocher Prayer/Day O God, the helper of all who call on you, have mercy on us and give us eyes of faith to see your Son that we may follow him on the way that leads to eternal life; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
