Description: Tuesday – 2 Timothy 2:8-13 Paul urges young Timothy to always remember the deliverance found in Jesus. But it was this gospel that landed him in chains. Yet, it was this very gospel that gave Paul the strength to endure suffering in anticipation of the heavenly glory that was awaiting him. Paul reminds us with a Christian hymn that we will live with Christ and we will reign with him. That is why Paul could give thanks in every situation—even in chains. This is the same hope that God fills our hearts with as we live for Jesus and eagerly anticipate the splendors of heaven.
