Description: Thursday – 2 Corinthians 1:8-11 Paul and his companions felt the sentence of death breathing down upon them. Yet, even in the face of death, they knew where to turn for comfort and deliverance—God. There are times when our circumstances seem dire and our burdens too much to bear that we question how we will survive. But just like the lonely leper, we turn to God for help. God raised Jesus from dead and will also raise us from deadly peril and suffering. This deliverance causes our hearts to overflow in thanksgiving, both now and forever more.
