If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a shelf or a Notes App list of books to be read that contains more books than you’ve actually read. Things pile up quickly in ministry, brothers, and no one knows that better than your fellow pastors. That is why a group of pastors are working together to help you curate your resources as well as your time (and money!) spent on picking them up.
The Shepherd’s Study Podcast is designed to be a conversation among WELS Pastors about books that may – or may not! – be worth adding to your To-Be-Read list. Each episode is around 45 minutes, and by the end of each episode we hope that you’ll have a good idea of whether or not the book we discuss is for you. We’ve got a backlog of almost 20 episodes that you can peruse, and new episodes are released monthly featuring different brothers from around the Synod. If there’s a book you’d like to have us discuss on the mic, let us know! In the meantime, throw us on in the car on the way to your next shut-in visit, and enjoy a casual, ministry-minded conversation about some books we’ve been reading.
