Fan God’s Gifts into Flame

Instructor: Private: Richard Gurgel

Description:
None of us has our specific God-given callings (child of God, pastor, husband, friend, etc.) by accident. All the days ordained for us were written in God’s book before one came to be (Psalm 139:16). None of us has our specific God-given gifts by accident. Christ measured into each of our lives the precise gifts he delighted to give (Ephesians 4:7). None of us has the specific people gathered around us by accident. God still sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6) – be they physical families, ministry families, or families of faith – to give us encouragement and objectivity. And it is at the intersection of those three gracious realities that we seek to fan God’s gifts into flame (2 Timothy 1:6) to honor the privilege of being God’s masks to those around us. With the help of our brothers and sisters, this course will aid us in planning for growth under the cross (where even weaknesses bless us!) in all our callings with all our gifts.
