Leadership in Paul
Instructor: E. Allen Sorum
The study and discussion of this course will help us to evaluate our leadership as spiritual leaders and our training of Christians in their leadership skills. We will reflect on the importance of leadership in every aspect of our Christian vocation. We will build on the assumption that spiritual leadership is an area of our Christian sanctification that can and must grow through Bible study, practice, and much prayer. Objectives for this course include: 1. to help participants identify their own philosophy and style of leadership and to reflect on how these were developed; 2. to guide participants to view leadership as an aspect of Christian sanctification that applies to all areas of Christian vocation; 3. to explore what Scripture says to Christians and shows to Christians on the topic of leadership; 4. to provide participants with opportunities to experience, observe, and demonstrate leadership concepts; and 5. to promote the concept of a long term personal leadership development plan.
