Missiology in the Book of Acts
Instructor: Sam Degner
Description:
Lutheran missiology must be rooted in the Scriptures. What better place to begin the study of mission than at the beginning of the Christian mission? As the book of Acts recounts the gospel’s spread from Jerusalem toward the ends of the earth, it presents culture clashes, persecution, contextualization, apologetics, and other key missiological concepts. In this isagogical/practical course, pastors will examine selected passages from Acts through the lens of missiology and apply lessons learned to their work in Christ’s mission.
In summer 2024, this course will run June 17-21 from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
